RICHARDSON, Texas -- OraMetrix, Inc., developer of the SureSmile(R) treatment system for orthodontics that combines 3-D intra-oral imaging, computer-aided treatment planning and robotic archwire customization, announced today that it has been selected as a presenting company at the Medtech Insight "Investment in Innovation (IN3): A Preview of Early-Stage Medical Technology Companies™" conference to be held in Irvine, California on February 24-25.

"SureSmile technologies benefit both patients and orthodontists by increasing the efficiency of treatment," said Charles Abraham, CEO of OraMetrix. "We are excited to have a single forum to present our results and technology to 400 executives of the leading companies in the medical technology industry. Our business achieved several major milestones in 2003 and we are poised for significant growth in 2004."

The IN3 Conference is a two-day event that will highlight emerging technologies being developed by more than 50 small, mostly privately held medical technology companies seeking partnering and/or investment. The meeting will draw senior executives from the investment community as well as from major medical technology and biopharmaceutical companies.

"SureSmile has demonstrated the ability to significantly reduce the amount of time patients need to be in braces without compromising treatment quality," said the company's co-founder Dr. Rohit Sachdeva BDS, M.dentSc. "We've created a win-win for both the patient, who can get a beautiful smile in less time, and for the doctor, who is facing growing demand for orthodontic treatment and needs the efficiencies offered by technology to keep pace."
